The safety system in driving is now more sophisticated with a variety of features. One example is the assistant feature, such as the lane keeping assistant. The most recent feature is a system with AI technology that can detect the driver’s stress level.

As is well known, driving can also increase stress, and can be dangerous if it has accumulated, it could be the cause of accidents.

Harman International, which is famous for its speaker products, is currently building a more sophisticated next-gen driving safety system.

The name of the system is Ready Care, which will work optimally with three main factors, namely, “Eyes and Mind on Road, Stress-free Routing, Personalized Experiences”.

Harman said that Ready Care is also the only system that can measure the driver’s eye activity and the driver’s state of mind in the Eyes and Mind on Road feature. The IR camera will observe the driver’s face to provide real-time data on facial expressions, eye gaze, eyelid opening, and more.

As for Stress-free Routing, AI not only directs cars away from traffic jams, but also notifies and predicts possible bad weather on the way that can be stressful.

Then for the last feature Personalized Experiences, this feature helps third parties or OEMs to provide security strategy customization. For example, when you fall asleep while driving, the car will activate the danger sign and brake automatically.
