Nikola unveiled Tre BEV And FCEV trucks in Europe

Nikola has just launched an European version of TRE truck at the IAA transportation event in Hanover, Germany.

Tre comes in the form of an electric vehicle for a battery (BEV) and an electric vehicle for fuel cells (FCEV). The battery vehicle version is referred to as Tre European 4 × 2 Artic with nine battery packages that can store total energy up to 738 kWh.

Nikola Tre European 4 × 2 Artic comes with a range of up to 530 km (329 miles) with filling up to 80 percent takes 100 minutes. This electricity structure comes with 480 kW electricity and 4,021 mm (158 inches).

The second version is the Nikola Tre FCEV Artic 6 × 2 with a 3,932 mm (154.8 inches) axis. This truck can accommodate about 70 kg of hydrogen at a pressure of 700 bar. Nikola Tre FCEV Artic 6 × 2 comes with a range of up to 800 km (497 miles) and can be refilled in just 20 minutes.

It is the first-ever Electric-Born Modular Platform for Articulated Heavy-Duty Tractors Hosting Both Energy Sources: Battery-Electric for Missions of Approximately 500 Km and Fuel Cell Electric PowerTrain for hauling up to 800 km in its first generation. A true revolution that marks a tangible step towards our ambritious goals of achieve a zero-emissions transport. ”
