Nissan Ariya electric SUV lands on British soil, start at £43,845

The Nissan Ariya has just landed on British soil via the Port of Tyne, which is in the north east of England. The Ariya variant that arrived in the UK is the Ariya Advance with a 63 kWh battery in Akatsuki Copper color and a Pearl Black roof which is equipped with the Sky Pack option package which is equipped with an electric sunroof with a power sunshade.

Nissan’s first Ariya models in the UK will undergo a final quality control check before being shipped to dealerships, where they will be used for customer test drives and then shipped to customers who have ordered.

Shipments of additional Ariya models will arrive in the coming weeks and will come in as many quantities as the vehicles that customers have pre-ordered.

In the UK, the Nissan Ariya is available in Advance and Evolve trim levels with three different battery and powertrain combinations. The trim consists of a two-wheel drive model with a 63 kWh battery pack, a two-wheel drive variant with a larger 87 kWh battery pack, and the flagship e-4ORCE AWD version with an 87 kWh battery pack.

Pricing starts at £43,845 for the 63 kWh Ariya Advance and £56,290 for the 87 kWh e-4ORCE Evolve.

The Nissan Ariya line-up is slightly different for the US market as the 63 kWh battery option is not available. The model line up available in the US is the Ariya Venture+ FWD powered by a single 289 hp electric motor and 87 kWh battery, with prices starting at $45,950.

Other variants on offer include the Ariya Evolve+ FWD with 289 hp and an 87 kWh battery starting at $48,950, the Ariya Premiere FWD with the same motor and battery for $53,450, and the flagship Ariya Platinum+ e-4ORCE AWD featuring a pair of 389-powered electric motors. hp, 87 kWh battery priced at $58,950.
