Honda MS01 officially launched in China. Where, this electric Cub has a simple design, is comfortable and has power like a moped.
Launching Visordown, Honda MS01 only produced 5,000 units. Meanwhile, China’s election reasoned that the electric Cub was claimed to be suitable for operating in busy cities and frequent traffic jams.
In addition, the presence of the electric Honda Cub in China is also a sign that this motorbike has a long history, considering that its production has been carried out since 1958. It is recorded that 100 million units of the Honda Cub have been sold worldwide.
Previously, the electric Honda Cub was introduced in concept form under the name EV-Cub Concept at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show.
This production version has a simple design with technology. This electric Honda Cub has only one passenger seat with a wide deck for the legs right below it is the battery. Illumination of both the front and rear lights is equipped with LEDs. Interestingly, the electric Honda Cub is also equipped with pedals.
About the price, the Honda MS01 is priced at $744 USD. However, the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer has not revealed the specifications of the battery used. Reportedly, the electric Honda Cub can cover a distance of up to 65 km.
