The Aiways U5 was launched in 2018 as the first model of a Chinese electric vehicle start-up.
This electric SUV is powered by a 150 kW (204 hp) drivetrain. It delivers 310 Nm of torque and makes acceleration from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 kph) in 7.5 seconds.
The Aiways U5 has fast charging capability, charging at 90 kW from 20% to 80% in 35 minutes. Apart from that, users can also charge the SUV from 0% to 100% via a 6.6 kW AC charger in 10 hours. When fully charged, the 63 kWh battery paired to the Aiways U5 will provide a range of up to 255 miles (410 km).
This electric SUV comes with several convenience features of the car including keyless entry, wireless smartphone charging, haptic feedback button and the ability to open the tailgate using the foot sensors under the car.
The U5 has level 2 autonomous driving technology, which provides a lane departure prevention system, blind spot warning and the ability to read road signs.
You can already buy the all-electric U5 SUV in 14 European countries, including the Netherlands, France and Italy, starting at €38,275 (~US$40,446).
