A total of 492 electric vehicles will be deployed to become the official transportation for the G20 Bali participants in November 2022.

Toyota will deploy 143 units of the Toyota bZ4X electric vehicle. The car is interesting because for the first time it landed in Southeast Asia through the G20 Bali, Indonesia.

At the same time, two South Korean car brands, Hyundai and Genesis, will also enliven the G20. Hyundai will bring 226 units of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 electric car. Hyundai’s sibling, Genesis will also present 123 units of the Genesis Electrified G80 premium sedan.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is no stranger to the Indonesian public. The Hyundai Ioniq 5 has been on sale in Indonesia since the beginning of May 2022.

It is not yet known how the hundreds of electric vehicles will be distributed to the G20 participants. It’s just that from its premium sedan shape, it can be predicted that the Genesis G80 Electrified will be allocated more to senior officials present at the G20.

It is known that the Genesis Electrified G80 has an electric battery with a capacity of 87.2 kWh which is connected to two electric motors on the front and rear wheels. The power generated from these two electric motors is 272 kW or the equivalent of 364.7 TK and 700 Nm of torque.

In addition, the Genesis Electrified G80 has a cruising range of up to 427 km with a full battery. To charge it, it only takes 22 minutes from 10 percent to 80 percent with 800 V rapid charging and if you use an 11 kW standard charger, from 10 percent to 100 percent it takes 9 hours.
