Zeekr delivered a record 34,377 vehicles in May, extending the premium electric vehicle brand’s growth streak in China as demand for its higher-end models continued to strengthen.
The May total represented an 81.8% increase from a year earlier and an 8.2% rise from April, according to figures released by the company. Deliveries during the first five months of the year reached 143,201 vehicles, up 93.4% from the same period in 2025.
The performance highlights Zeekr’s growing presence in China’s premium electric vehicle market, where competition among domestic automakers continues to intensify.
Premium Models Drive Growth
Zeekr said the average transaction price of its vehicles increased 52.4% year-on-year, supported by strong demand for its higher-priced product lineup.
Models from the Zeekr 9 and Zeekr 8 series accounted for nearly half of total deliveries in May, helping boost both revenue potential and sales volume.
The company said cumulative deliveries of the Zeekr 9 series have surpassed 60,000 units, while the model’s average transaction price exceeded 530,000 yuan ($78,310).
According to Zeekr, one out of every three vehicles sold in China’s segment priced above 500,000 yuan is a Zeekr 9X. The company reiterated plans to begin overseas sales of the model in the third quarter of this year.
Zeekr 8X and 7X Expand Market Reach
The Zeekr 8X recorded 5,757 deliveries in May. Deliveries have begun for variants equipped with Geely’s Afari Smart Driving (G-ASD) H7 advanced driver-assistance system.
The higher-specification version featuring the G-ASD H9 system is scheduled to begin customer deliveries in July, according to the company.
Zeekr also reported that cumulative global deliveries of its 7X sport utility vehicle have exceeded 160,000 units.
The company said the model has led sales rankings in its segment in several international markets, including Hong Kong, Australia, Malaysia and Mexico.
New Models Support Expansion
Zeekr said demand for its broader vehicle portfolio remained strong during May. Firm orders for SUV models, including the Zeekr 001 and 007 GT, exceeded 10,000 units during the month.
The automaker has continued to refresh its lineup with new products. In mid-May, Zeekr launched an updated version of its 009 multi-purpose vehicle, with prices starting at 413,800 yuan.
Earlier, the company introduced a limited fifth-anniversary edition of the Zeekr 001, priced at 365,000 yuan.
The continued rollout of new models is expected to support further growth as Zeekr expands its presence in both domestic and international markets.
Zeekr is a premium electric vehicle brand owned by Geely Auto and has increasingly focused on higher-margin segments as it seeks to strengthen its position in the global EV industry.
