Lucid Group said it has introduced updates to its 2027 Gravity sport utility vehicle lineup, adding more standard features and revising packaging across trims as it refines the model’s positioning in the premium EV segment.
The update comes less than a year after the model began customer deliveries, with Lucid adding more standard equipment rather than redesigning the vehicle. The company has made its DreamDrive 2 Premium advanced driver-assistance system standard across all variants, alongside the inclusion of an additional key fob that was previously optional.
DreamDrive 2 Premium offers Level 2 driver-assistance capabilities, including adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane change assist, and cross-collision protection. Some higher-level features—such as hands-free driving, traffic light detection, and remote parking—remain part of the optional DreamDrive Pro package.
For the Gravity Touring trim, pricing starts at $79,900 in the United States and C$113,500 in Canada, excluding taxes and additional fees. The model includes DreamDrive 2 Premium as standard and remains available with optional packages such as Comfort & Convenience, Technology, Power, Dynamic Handling, Towing, Surreal Sound Pro, and DreamDrive 2 Pro.
The Gravity Grand Touring trim now includes several features as standard that were previously optional, including the Comfort & Convenience Package and the Power Package, along with 21-inch or 22-inch wheels. The model starts at $98,900 in the U.S., about $4,000 higher than the previous model year, reflecting the expanded equipment.
Lucid has also introduced a new Prestige Package for the Grand Touring variant, priced at $10,500 in the U.S. and C$14,000 in Canada. The package adds larger wheels, upgraded audio, dynamic handling features, and third-row seating, positioning the model alongside three-row electric SUV competitors such as the Rivian R1S.
The updates also follow recent additions of smartphone integration features, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, expanding connectivity options for users.
“Lucid continues to set the benchmark for what an electric SUV can be – efficient, versatile, and deeply luxurious,” said Erwin Raphael, SVP Revenue at Lucid. “With the 2027 updates, we’ve expanded standard features, simplified choices, and introduced a new Prestige Package that showcases the very best of Lucid design and technology.”
The update comes as Lucid continues to navigate operational challenges. The company previously reported first-quarter deliveries of 3,093 vehicles for 2026, down 42% from the previous quarter and slightly below the same period last year, citing a supplier-related issue that temporarily affected Gravity SUV shipments. Production during the period remained higher at around 5,500 units, indicating a gap between output and deliveries.
Separately, Lucid has outlined broader plans to expand its product portfolio. In March, the company introduced initial details of a mid-size electric vehicle lineup, including two sport utility vehicles, as it seeks to move beyond the premium segment.
Lucid also unveiled a robotaxi concept, the Lucid Lunar, during its Investor Day event. The vehicle is designed for autonomous ride-hailing services and features a minimalist interior without a steering wheel or pedals, centered around a large display.
