Ford Motor’s commercial vehicle division Ford Pro has partnered with charging infrastructure provider ChargePoint to deliver tailored electric vehicle charging solutions for fleet customers in Germany and the United Kingdom, the companies said.
The collaboration aims to support businesses transitioning to electric fleets by offering integrated charging options across home, depot, and workplace environments. The companies said the initiative is designed to improve operational efficiency while reducing the total cost of ownership for fleet operators.

“By combining specialised services and advanced charging technology, this new offering significantly enhances the Ford Pro customer experience for electric fleets across Germany and the UK,” ChargePoint said. The company added that the collaboration provides “specialised home, depot, and workplace EV charging solutions for Ford’s commercial fleet customers, aimed at lowering the total cost of ownership for fleets of all sizes.”
Under the agreement, Ford Pro customers will gain access to ChargePoint’s services for planning and installing charging infrastructure, including site assessments and deployment support. “This offering ensures smooth installation, management, and optimisation of charging infrastructure, accelerating deployment and improving scalability,” ChargePoint said.

The partnership will support Ford Pro’s electrified commercial vehicle lineup, including the E-Transit Courier, E-Transit Custom, and E-Transit vans, as well as the plug-in hybrid version of the Ford Ranger. ChargePoint said its solutions are designed to accommodate fleets of varying sizes, offering flexibility for different operational needs.
