Geely Holding Group reported record vehicle sales in 2025, with total deliveries rising 26% year on year to 4.12 million units, as demand for new energy vehicles accelerated across its portfolio.
The automaker said on January 9 that NEV sales reached 2.29 million vehicles, up 58% from a year earlier, lifting the group’s NEV penetration rate to 56%. The results marked the first time Geely Holding’s annual sales surpassed four million vehicles and capped five consecutive years of expansion.

Geely Automobile Holdings, the group’s core listed unit, sold 3.02 million vehicles during the year, a 39% increase from 2024. NEV deliveries at the unit nearly doubled to 1.69 million vehicles, exceeding the company’s annual target and highlighting the pace of its electrification push.
Performance varied across Geely’s brands. The Geely Galaxy lineup recorded sales of 1.24 million vehicles, up 150% year on year, achieving its one-million-unit milestone ahead of schedule. Lynk & Co delivered more than 350,000 vehicles, a 23% increase, while premium electric brand ZEEKR sold nearly 224,000 units. ZEEKR said December deliveries exceeded 30,000 vehicles, and its flagship ZEEKR 9X led China’s large SUV segment priced above 500,000 yuan.

The China Star series remained resilient amid intense competition, with annual sales exceeding 1.21 million vehicles, up 3% year on year and marking a third consecutive year above the million-unit level.
Among Geely’s overseas and affiliated brands, Volvo Cars reported global sales of 710,042 vehicles, with NEVs accounting for 323,294 units, raising its electrified vehicle penetration to 46%. Malaysia-based PROTON sold 162,601 vehicles in 2025, up 6.5%, and is expected to see its domestic market share rise to 19.4%.

Polestar reported sales of more than 60,000 vehicles for the year, an increase of over 30%, as it continued to expand internationally and unveiled its high-performance Polestar 5 GT. Lotus Cars said China sales of its ELETRE electric SUV rose 30% year on year, underscoring China’s growing role in the brand’s global strategy.
In commercial vehicles, Geely’s Farizon brand sold 162,019 units in 2025, bringing cumulative sales above 500,000 vehicles. The company said overseas commercial vehicle sales increased nearly fivefold from a year earlier.
