Chinese electric vehicle maker Xpeng has begun deliveries of the updated 2026 P7+ sedan, as the model reached a cumulative production milestone of 100,000 units, the company said.
The first customer deliveries of the refreshed P7+ took place on Friday at Xpeng’s manufacturing facility in Guangzhou, where the vehicle also rolled off the production line for the 100,000th time. The milestone was achieved about 14 months after the sedan’s initial market launch.

Xpeng unveiled the 2026 model year P7+ on Thursday, keeping the starting price unchanged at 186,800 yuan ($26,760) while expanding the lineup to include extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) options in addition to battery electric versions. The move reflects a broader strategy by Chinese automakers to diversify powertrain offerings amid shifting consumer demand.
The updated P7+ will be introduced across 36 countries and regions, the company said, as it continues to expand overseas. Xpeng currently operates in 60 international markets.

Originally launched in China in November 2024, the P7+ was initially offered only as a battery electric vehicle. The 2026 BEV lineup includes two variants — 615 Max and 725 Max — priced from 186,800 yuan and 198,800 yuan respectively. The newly added EREV versions are offered at the same starting prices.
Beyond the P7+ update, Xpeng also introduced 2026 model year versions of its G6 and G9 electric SUVs this week, while adding EREV variants to the G7 SUV, further broadening its product portfolio.
