Hello Robotaxi, a subsidiary of AI-enabled mobility services company Hello Inc., has signed a memorandum of understanding with ComfortDelGro China to collaborate on the commercialisation and global rollout of autonomous mobility services, the companies said. ComfortDelGro China is part of Singapore-based transport operator ComfortDelGro.
The agreement was formalised on Nov. 25 at the 15th Guangdong–Singapore Collaboration Council meeting. Under the partnership, Hello Robotaxi’s Level 4 autonomous driving system will be integrated into ComfortDelGro’s point-to-point mobility network, enabling robotaxis and conventional taxis to operate side by side through a jointly developed intelligent dispatch platform.
The companies said the hybrid dispatching model is intended to improve fleet utilisation and enhance passenger experience by dynamically allocating trips between human-driven vehicles and robotaxis. The cooperation will also extend to vehicle leasing, battery swap-based energy solutions, safety operator training, and grid-based fleet management.
Hello co-founder and Chief Executive Yang Lei said the partnership combines ComfortDelGro’s global operating footprint with Hello’s technology and user base. “Hybrid dispatching between conventional taxis and robotaxis is the starting point for broader global expansion,” Yang said, adding that the companies aim to build an integrated smart mobility network and deepen cooperation across operations and ecosystem development.
ComfortDelGro Chief Executive Cheng Siak Kian said the agreement strengthens the group’s technology ecosystem and supports its strategy in next-generation transport. He said blending traditional taxi operations with autonomous services would reinforce the company’s competitive position in point-to-point mobility and create a scalable operating model for international markets.
Hello Inc. entered the robotaxi sector in June 2025 and has been co-developing its Level 4 autonomous driving technology with Ant Group and CATL, focusing on AI foundation models, smart vehicle platforms and battery systems. Hello Robotaxi now operates across research and development, vehicle manufacturing and platform operations. ComfortDelGro operates one of the world’s largest international taxi networks and has experience managing autonomous fleets in markets including Singapore and Guangzhou.
