AUDI, the new brand jointly created by Audi and SAIC, unveiled its E SUV Concept on the opening day of the 2025 Guangzhou Auto Show, marking the brand’s second model after the E5 Sportback.
The production version of the concept is scheduled for release in 2026, following the same timeline as the E5 Sportback.
The E SUV Concept carries forward the design language of the E5 Sportback, including a distinctive front face, while introducing features such as a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor and digital rearview mirrors. “The AUDI E SUV Concept embodies simplicity to master complexity, outlining the dynamic posture of future luxury SUVs,” AUDI said in a post on Weibo.

The Guangzhou show also saw AUDI announcing a new variant for the E5 Sportback: the quattro performance edition, priced at RMB 279,900 ($39,370).
The E5 Sportback, a mid-size sedan with a wagon-inspired silhouette, is built on the Advanced Digitized Platform developed through the Audi-SAIC collaboration. Previous E5 Sportback variants ranged from RMB 235,900 to RMB 319,900.
The AUDI brand, launched in China on November 7, 2024, distinguishes itself from Audi’s traditional four-ring logo by adopting a single-letter emblem. The E5 Sportback debuted as a concept at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show in April and officially launched in September, laying the foundation for the brand’s growing portfolio of electric vehicles.
