Chery’s electric vehicle (EV) unit Exeed has revealed updated specifications for its 2026 Exlantix ES electric sedan, highlighting a significant increase in battery capacity and driving range. According to a filing with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the revised model is equipped with a 97.682 kWh battery pack, offering two range options of 835 km and 860 km, depending on configuration and tyre size. Testing conditions for these figures were not specified.
The Exlantix ES retains its mid-to-large sedan dimensions, measuring 4,945 mm in length, 1,978 mm in width, and 1,480 mm in height, with a 3,000 mm wheelbase. Exterior updates include a closed front grille, slim full-width LED headlights, frameless doors with hidden handles, and optional 21-inch wheels with six-piston fixed callipers. Higher trims add ISD interactive lighting and an electric rear spoiler.

Inside, the cabin features an 8.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch 2.5K floating touchscreen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip. The system supports Lion AI voice assistant, Huawei HiCar, and Apple CarPlay. A dual-spoke steering wheel with touch-sensitive controls and heating functions completes the interior package.
Advanced driver-assistance systems are a key component of the update. Max and Ultra trims include roof-mounted LiDAR and the Falcon driver-assist system, backed by 30 sensors and dual Nvidia Drive Orin X chips delivering 508 TOPS of computing power. The setup enables urban and highway assisted driving as well as full-scene parking assistance.

The current Exlantix ES lineup includes single- and dual-motor variants. The single-motor version generates 230 kW with a 77 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery for a 705 km CLTC range, while the dual-motor variant produces 353 kW with a 100 kWh ternary lithium battery, achieving 710 km. Top trims also feature CDC electromagnetic damping and IAS air suspension.
The Exlantix ES competes with other Chinese EV sedans such as Xiaomi’s SU7 and BYD’s Han L EV. In September 2025, Exeed sold 557 units of the Exlantix ES. Chery has not yet confirmed pricing or launch details for the extended-range 2026 model.
