Australian-based Tritium has appointed City Electrical Factors (CEF) as its first official hardware distributor in the United Kingdom, a move designed to enhance access to DC fast chargers and accelerate the rollout of electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure across the country.
The partnership establishes CEF — which operates more than 390 branches nationwide — as the primary distributor of Tritium’s DC fast-charging systems and spare parts in the UK. The collaboration is expected to improve delivery speed, simplify procurement for contractors, and strengthen national support for the country’s transition to electric mobility.

Leveraging its 70-year industry presence, CEF will provide Tritium’s range of DC chargers through its multi-channel distribution network. The company’s system enables contractors to access hardware and spare parts with delivery typically within one to two days, reducing the need for fragmented sourcing and helping streamline installation and maintenance processes.
