Lucid reported record vehicle deliveries in the third quarter of 2025, marking steady progress for the California-based electric vehicle manufacturer as it expands production and strengthens its position in the premium SUV market.
According to the company’s quarterly report released on Monday, Lucid produced 3,891 vehicles between July and September, with more than 1,000 additional units assembled for completion in Saudi Arabia.

Deliveries totaled 4,078 vehicles — the company’s highest-ever quarterly figure and its seventh consecutive quarter of delivery growth. Through the first nine months of the year, Lucid has produced 9,966 vehicles and delivered 10,496, reaffirming its full-year target of 18,000 to 20,000 units.
Much of the company’s recent momentum has come from the Gravity SUV, Lucid’s second model following the Air luxury sedan. The three-row electric SUV, which began deliveries earlier in 2025, has quickly become a cornerstone of the brand’s lineup. Executives say the Gravity taps into a market roughly six times larger than that of the Air, positioning Lucid to benefit from strong consumer demand for premium electric SUVs.

The surge in sales coincided with the expiration of the U.S. federal $7,500 EV tax credit at the end of September, prompting increased buying activity across the industry.
Tesla and Rivian also reported delivery gains during the same period, reflecting a broader pre-expiration rush in electric vehicle purchases.

Lucid plans to release its full third-quarter financial results on November 5, 2025, followed by a webcast and investor Q&A session via Say Technologies. Analysts expect the company to provide further details on its production strategy, cost management, and efforts to ramp up Gravity output.
While Lucid’s delivery record signals operational improvement, it continues to face challenges in scaling production and achieving long-term profitability.
