The design refresh for the Model Y began earlier this year, though Tesla initially held back the performance variant. With the U.S. launch, new details have been confirmed, including an EPA-estimated driving range of 308 miles (496 km) and acceleration from zero to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds.
The refreshed version also comes equipped with 21-inch Arachnid wheels and adaptive damping for improved ride quality.

Tesla has made subtle design changes to the Model Y Performance, including tweaks to the front and rear styling. Underneath, the company is using higher-density battery cells, which enable faster charging speeds compared to earlier versions. The refresh also incorporates a suspension upgrade to balance performance with comfort.
Inside, the most noticeable change is in the seating. The front seats now feature larger side bolsters and powered thigh cushion extenders, aimed at providing more support during long drives or spirited performance use.
