Chinese autonomous driving (AD) technology developer QCraft is entering the European market with the opening of a German headquarters and a strategic partnership with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. The expansion signals QCraft’s formal entry into the European Union and other international markets.
The company plans to deploy its full-stack Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) system in around one million vehicles globally, with mass production and deliveries in Europe, the United States, Japan, and South Korea expected to begin in 2026. The German hub will manage research and development integration, certification, and business development, ensuring the company’s autonomous systems meet European and international standards.
Through its partnership with Qualcomm, QCraft will leverage the Snapdragon Ride™ platform to develop next-generation intelligent assisted driving systems. The collaboration aims to reduce production cycles and costs while accommodating the specific requirements of automakers. QCraft also supports chipsets from Horizon Robotics and NVIDIA.
QCraft emphasizes safety and compute-efficient technology, integrating large-model capabilities with a comprehensive in-house data toolchain. The approach is designed to accelerate the deployment of L2++ to L4 autonomous driving solutions while reducing system complexity and integration costs for automakers.
