DKV Mobility has expanded its electric vehicle (EV) charging network in Switzerland through a roaming agreement with local provider MOVE Mobility, adding 2,200 charging points—most of them high-speed stations—to its European network. The move is part of the company’s ongoing effort to improve access to fast-charging infrastructure along key transport corridors.
According to DKV Mobility, around 2,000 of the 2,200 newly added charging points from MOVE Mobility are fast or ultra-fast chargers with outputs of up to 150 kW. These additions bring the company’s total number of charge points in Switzerland to around 14,000, contributing to its European network, which recently surpassed the one million mark.
MOVE Mobility’s charging infrastructure is connected via GreenFlux, the Amsterdam-based Charge Point Management System (CPMS) provider and a DKV subsidiary. The connection enables DKV customers to access the MOVE network using GreenFlux’s backend technology. GreenFlux recently formalized a cooperation agreement with MOVE Mobility to facilitate the integration.
“The cooperation with MOVE Mobility is another important step on our path to making electric mobility easily and efficiently accessible to our customers throughout Europe,” said Sven Mehringer, Managing Director at DKV Mobility responsible for Energy & Vehicle Services. “The high concentration of fast charge points in the MOVE Mobility network offers real added value for anyone relying on fast charging times.”
The partnership supports DKV Mobility’s wider goal of expanding high-capacity charging options across Europe, helping EV drivers and commercial fleet operators meet increasing demand for rapid and reliable charging infrastructure.
