Zeekr marked a key milestone as its 500,000th production vehicle rolled off the assembly line at its factory in Ningbo, Zhejiang province. The milestone vehicle was a Zeekr 009 Grand multi-purpose vehicle, the brand’s flagship luxury MPV.
The achievement comes 44 months after the launch of Zeekr’s first production model, the 001 shooting brake, in October 2021. The brand also completed production of its 500,001st vehicle on the same day — another unit of the Zeekr 001.
Zeekr has maintained an average transaction price of nearly RMB 300,000 ($41,750) per vehicle since its debut, according to company data. In May alone, the company delivered 18,908 vehicles, bringing cumulative deliveries to 492,794 units. The delivery of the 500,000th vehicle is expected to follow shortly, accounting for logistics.
Among its lineup, the Zeekr 009 series contributed 1,552 units to May’s total, while the Zeekr 001 accounted for 2,375 units. The Zeekr 009, a luxury MPV available in 6- or 7-seat formats, was first unveiled in November 2022 and began customer deliveries in January 2023. The more upscale Zeekr 009 Grand — aimed at executives — was introduced in April 2024, with a starting price of RMB 789,000. A Collector’s Edition priced at RMB 899,000 offers further enhancements.
Zeekr’s expanding portfolio also includes the Zeekr X compact SUV, Zeekr 007 sedan, Zeekr 007 GT, Zeekr 7X SUV, Zeekr Mix mini van, and the high-performance Zeekr 001 FR.
