After being named the European Car of the Year 2022, the Kia EV6 again won the 2022 Red Dot Design Award. Kia EV6 electric crossover takes overall victory in prestigious Red Dot Awards with ‘Best of the Best’ title
The KIA EV6 won the ‘Red Dot: Best of the Best’ award for its pioneering and forward-looking design. The award was won from 50 expert judges from the famous international design competition.
In addition, the KIA EV6 was also named the winner for the Red Dot category: ‘Innovative Products’. The KIA EV6 itself is built around Kia’s new ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, which ensures a strong visual identity with a contrasting combination of sharp styling elements and sculptural forms.
The Kia EV6 is based on the company’s state-of-the-art Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). This innovative platform allows the KIA EV6 to have the most spacious interior in its class.
In terms of specifications, the Kia EV6 has a range of up to 528 km. It also has 800-volt ultra-fast charging technology that allows the vehicle to be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 18 minutes.
The EV 6 is the sixth Kia vehicle to receive the Red Dot ‘Best of the Best’ award.
The EV6 may also receive other awards. This year the Kia EV6, Hyundai Ioniq 5, and Ford Mustang Mach-E are finalists for the World Car of the Year Awards.
