Toyota has announced a significant price reduction for its 2025 bZ4X electric SUV, making it more affordable while introducing new features, including a sleek Nightshade edition. The 2025 model starts at $37,070, marking a $6,000 decrease from the 2024 version.
The base FWD XLE model is now priced at $37,070, while the XLE AWD starts at $39,150. Both prices are $6,000 lower than the previous model year. For those opting for the Limited trim, the 2025 bZ4X FWD starts at $41,800, a $5,380 price drop, with the AWD Limited priced at $43,880.
A standout feature of the 2025 bZ4X is the introduction of the Nightshade edition, Toyota’s first EV available in this trim. Built on the XLE model, the Nightshade edition is available in two-tone Wind Chill Pearl or Heavy Metal colors with a black roof or a full black exterior. The trim includes black badges, door handles, a black split rear spoiler, and a red-stitched leather-trimmed steering wheel, adding a sportier and more stylish look to the vehicle.
For those prioritizing advanced features, the 2025 Limited grade bZ4X introduces three new driver assistance features: Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Change Assist, and Front Cross-Traffic Alert.
The 2025 bZ4X offers impressive range figures, with the XLE FWD reaching up to 252 miles on a single charge, while the AWD variant is rated at up to 228 miles. The Limited FWD trim provides up to 236 miles, and the Limited and Nightshade AWD models offer up to 222 miles.
The bZ4X’s dimensions remain competitive, with a length of 184.6 inches, slightly longer than the RAV4, and a 6.3-inch longer wheelbase, providing 27.7 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row. Inside, the 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is standard.
Toyota is offering new bZ4X buyers one year of free charging at EVgo stations and the option to add a ChargePoint Home Level 2 charger to their purchase or lease.
