The 2025 Kia EV9 enters its second model year following a successful debut as an all-electric, three-row SUV in 2024. As a continuation of the popular model, Kia has introduced only minor updates and a price increase for one specific trim, maintaining the momentum of the EV9’s early success. The vehicle’s high demand and strong sales have prompted minimal changes, focusing mainly on cosmetic tweaks.

Built on Hyundai Motor Group’s E-GMP platform, the EV9 offers an impressive range of up to 310 miles and 800V charging capabilities.

Since its U.S. launch in December 2023, the SUV has sold over 14,000 units, with production transitioning to Kia’s new facility in West Point, Georgia. The automaker is planning to scale up U.S. production in 2025.

For the 2025 model year, most trims retain their previous pricing, with the exception of the Light Long Range trim, which sees a modest $700 price increase.

The upgrades include a standard front sunroof for the Light Long Range trim, while the Land trim no longer offers the Relaxation Seat Package. Kia has also revised the available color options, introducing Glacial White Pearl and Ebony Black for the exterior, while removing certain other colors such as Ivory Silver and Ocean Blue Matte.

Despite the minimal changes, the Kia EV9 is expected to maintain its strong sales, appealing to U.S. consumers looking for a family-friendly electric vehicle.

2025 model pricing is as follows:

2025 Kia EV9 Trim Starting MSRP*
Light Standard Range $54,900
Light Long Range $59,900
Wind $63,900
Land $69,900
GT-Line $73,900
