The Tesla Model Y 2022 pricing in Australia was reportedly released to corporate and industrial customers recently.

The price of the 2022 Tesla Model Y in Australia was just released recently. According to Chasingcars, the price of the 2022 Tesla Model Y for the single-motor RWD variant will start at AUD$67,990 (USD$51,536.74), which is before on-road costs in Australia.

Meanwhile, the 2022 Tesla Model Y Performance will be priced at AUD$98,172 (USD$74,414.84).

For the Australian market, Tesla will also sell another variant, namely the Model Y dual-motor Long Range. However, the price of the Model Y Long Range has not been confirmed at this time.

On the Tesla website page, the price and delivery time of the Tesla Model Y in Australia has not been disclosed publicly. Tesla’s website simply states “Keep Updating,” and there’s no option to order a Model Y unit yet.

The Tesla Model Y sold in Australia will likely come from the Shanghai Giga. In the last week of the first quarter the Shanghai Giga was closed due to the lockdown in Shanghai to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Giga Shanghai may resume operations on April 11.

The Model Y became Tesla’s best-selling electric vehicle. In some major markets, the Model Y sales surpassed its best-selling sibling, the Model 3.
