Zeekr, the electric car brand from the Geely Group, is expanding its presence in Europe with a launch in Norway, which has the highest share of new electric car registrations on the continent. This development makes Norway the third European market for Zeekr, following previous launches in the Netherlands and Sweden.
While plans for a German launch were announced for early 2024, this timeline is now expected to be extended. In Norway, Zeekr is establishing a curated dealer network, with Premium Cars Stor-Oslo set to open in October. This network will gradually include additional dealers in major cities, supported by authorized service centers and workshops.
The company will introduce two electric models in Norway: the Zeekr 001 Shooting Brake and the Zeekr X compact SUV, which shares its platform with the Volvo EX30. The Zeekr 001 offers a WLTP range of up to 620 km and will start at 579,900 kroner (approximately 49,000 euros). The Zeekr X provides a WLTP range of up to 446 km, with a starting price of 424,900 kroner (around 36,000 euros).

“We’re pleased to launch our brand in Norway. This is an important market for us, and we aim to deliver a quality customer experience through our new retailer network, which is a first for Zeekr in Europe,” stated Lothar Schupet, Chief Commercial Officer for Zeekr Europe. The brand’s entry into this advanced EV market is anticipated to see Zeekr vehicles on the road before the year concludes.
Zeekr vehicles in Norway will come with a warranty of 5 years or 100,000 km, which can be extended for an additional 5 years or 100,000 km if the recommended service and maintenance schedule is followed at Zeekr dealers or authorized centers.
Additionally, Zeekr has partnered with Plugsurfing, providing access to over 800,000 charging points across Europe via the Zeekr Charge app and an RFID charging card. The app allows users to locate charging stations, start and end the charging process, and manage billing and receipts efficiently.
