Wolftank Group Collaborates with E-Mobility Providers to Install 400+ Charging Stations in Italy

Wolftank Group, an Austrian-based green energy technology provider, has announced a partnership with multiple e-mobility companies in Italy to install over 400 charging stations. The first stations have already been set up, with the remaining to be installed in the coming months at around 115 locations, including highway service areas, train station parking lots, and public areas. The company has not yet revealed the names of its partners or the precise locations of the charging stations.

Wolftank Group expects revenues of around ā‚¬4 mn and says it has orders of over ā‚¬2.5 mn from these framework agreements. The company has also made investments in the Italian company Mares, which is part of the Group through a joint venture with Kuwait Petroleum Italia. Earlier this year, Wolftank also founded a joint venture with public transport operator TPER of Bologna for bus hydrogen refuelling systems.

Peter Werth, CEO of the Wolftank Group, said: ā€œWe have been able to make well-targeted use of our know-how as well as our network in Italy to win important contracts in the field of e-mobility. Our goal is to become a key pillar for zero-emission vehicle refuelling and to build the infrastructure for the mobility of the future, be it e-mobility or hydrogen. The orders we have won give us the opportunity to consolidate and further expand our market position.ā€

The company has not provided details on these orders or the technology being utilized, although current press photos primarily show AC charge points with one location featuring Alfen wall boxes and one Alpitronic Hypercharger.

Wolftank Group provides environmental solutions and supports customers in more than 20 countries to implement projects efficiently and environmentally friendly. Its services include ā€œturnkey deliveryā€ of modular hydrogen and LNG refuelling facilities. The offering consists of due diligence for environmental risks, customized services for soil and groundwater remediation, and recycling. The Groupā€™s subsidiaries in eight countries on three continents are managed by Wolftank-Adisa Holding AG, based in Innsbruck, Austria.
