“We have only just scratched the surface of Beyond Zero,” said David Christ, Group Vice President and General Manager of Toyota USA.
“With an aerodynamic design and intuitive technology that has not been available in other Toyota models, the bZ concept car represents the closest future to our battery electric car,” added Christ.
In appearance, the Toyota bZ Compact SUV concept car has elements similar to the bZ4X which are combined with the latest Toyota designs.
Starting from the front, the bZ Compact SUV has ‘C’ design LED lights that connect and form the fascia of this concept car.
The design of the lamp is similar to the Prius and Crown Sport, which accompanies the panel grille and air dam motif with round holes.
Like the bZ4X, the Toyota bZ Compact SUV has a charging port positioned on the fender and a rear horn-shaped spoiler.
Entering the interior, the Toyota bZ Compact SUV has a simpler layout, but the bZ4X is equipped with unique design features.
Call it the central touch screen and the digital instrument screen. The BZ Compact SUV uses a curved screen at the bottom so it looks like a rounded L.
Toyota said that ‘behind’ the curved screen is an in-car personal agent feature named Yui that connects the driver, passengers and the car.
Then if you look at the steering wheel which is flat, it is very likely that the production version of the BZ Compact SUV will also get a One-Motion Grip steering wheel.
Toyota has not revealed the specifications of the bZ Compact SUV or whether this concept car will be produced in the near future.
