German automaker Mercedes-Benz unveiled the AMG version of its EQE electric sedan in February. This car will be ready for the US market early next year.
As for the advantages, this four-wheeled vehicle has an aggressive design and a luxurious cabin loaded with technology-based features.
The car runs on an electric powertrain and promises a range of up to 518 km on a single charge.
The Mercedes-AMG EQE offers a better look, more features and an improved suspension compared to the standard EQE sedan. This car is likely to attract many buyers in the international market.
This four-wheeled vehicle will face several rivals such as the Tesla Model S, BMW i4 M50, and Porsche Taycan. If this car arrives in India, the competition in the electric four-wheeler segment will increase.
The Mercedes-AMG EQE features a sloping roofline, wavy hood, black panels with the AMG badge and vertical bars, black front splitter, large air vents and headlights that extend to the rear.
On the sides, the car is flanked by black B-pillars, door-mounted ORVMs and spoke wheels.
Diffuser, decklid spoiler, and wide taillights decorate the rear of this four-wheeled vehicle.
The Mercedes-AMG EQE features a luxurious 5-seater cabin, equipped with a sunroof, sports seats, a center console that divides the driver and passenger areas, contrasting red accents, circular air conditioning vents and a multifunction steering wheel with a flat bottom.
The cabin houses the MBUX Hyperscreen with support for the latest connectivity options. A set of artificial sounds called the AMG Sound Experience and several airbags are also available.
The EQE has two motors, a 90.6 kWh battery and a 4Matic+ all-wheel drive system. This setting produces 617 hp/950 Nm and allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0-97 km/h in 3.4 seconds, and reach a top speed of 220.5 km/h.
The optional Dynamic Plus package increases output to 677 hp/1,001 Nm and top speed to 240 km/h. The AMG Ride Control+ system, adjustable adaptive dampers and rear axle steering ensure better performance.
