The new Volvo EX90 will launch on November 9, but the company has already teased potential customers by publishing the interior of the new electric flagship from Sweden
The Volvo EX90 promises the most advanced technology ever seen in any Volvo car and now interior details have been introduced in the company’s latest video.
From the published video, the company decided to prioritize aspects of sustainability and recycled materials. For example the new Nordico material is made of PET bottles and pine resin from certified sources and replaces many plastic parts in cars.
The Volvo EX90 will use wood panels that come from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified sources. The wool for the upholstery is farm-sourced that adheres to strict animal welfare and environmental standards.
Volvo does not refer to the interior of the car as interior but room, which signifies a subtle change in the look of a car. The Volvo EX90 offers seven different room configurations to suit the inside of the car and the outside.
Volvo says its electric electric flagship will have nearly 50kg of recycled and bio-based materials, making it very likely to be a leader in the industry.
