Toyota Motor North America has formed a partnership with Revel to offer complimentary DC fast charging for Toyota and Lexus electric vehicle (EV) customers in New York City. The initiative will last nearly three years, concluding on October 14, 2027, and aims to facilitate electric vehicle adoption by enhancing charging convenience. Revel operates a prominent network of public fast charging stations in the city, providing 24/7 access at several busy locations.

Under this program, owners of Toyota and Lexus battery EVs will have free access to DC fast charging at Revel stations in New York City. Revel’s network currently includes 64 fast charging stalls across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens, with plans to expand to 300 stalls in the next year. Upcoming developments include a 60-stall mega station in Maspeth, Queens, and a 48-stall station near LaGuardia Airport. Revel is also planning further expansions in the Bay Area and has recently secured a lease for a location in downtown Los Angeles.

Toyota Ventures, the venture capital division of Toyota, initially invested in Revel in 2019 to support the growth of urban electric vehicle infrastructure. This partnership aligns with Toyota’s ongoing efforts to promote electric vehicle adoption by improving customer convenience and expanding infrastructure.

Christopher Yang, group vice president of Toyota EV Charging Solutions, highlighted the significance of a seamless charging experience for customer satisfaction, stating that the collaboration with Revel aims to improve the charging experience for customers in New York City while underscoring Toyota’s commitment to sustainable mobility solutions.

Revel plans to continue expanding its fast charging network in key urban areas, working with partners like Toyota to enhance charging accessibility for EV owners. For more information about the program, customers can visit Revel’s page dedicated to Toyota and Lexus.
