In a recent video posted on Tesla’s internal platform X, the company teased its upcoming Cybercab while highlighting key proposals for its 2024 Annual Stockholders Meeting. The meeting, scheduled for June 13, 2024, at 3:30 PM CT, will see shareholders vote on critical matters including redomestication and the approval of Elon Musk’s 2018 Performance Award package.

The video featured Tesla Chief Designer Franz von Holzhausen inspecting the Cybercab’s interior, which showcased two passenger seats and an infotainment system, hinting at a steering wheel-free design. Additionally, the cabin’s structure revealed ample storage space at the back, emphasizing its utility.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced plans to unveil the company’s Robotaxi vehicle in August, following reports of scrapping a $25,000 electric vehicle project. Musk shared insights during the first-quarter earnings call, revealing an accelerated timeline for the release of next-generation vehicles. Production of these vehicles is set to commence by late 2024 or early 2025, utilizing both current and next-generation platforms on existing manufacturing lines.

“We’ve updated our future vehicle lineup to accelerate the launch of new models ahead, previously mentioned start of production in the second half of 2025. So, we expect it to be more like the early 2025, if not late this year,” Musk stated.
