This release contains minor bug fixes and improvements.
FULL SELF-DRIVING (BETA) SUSPENSION
For maximum safety and accountability, use of Full Self-Driving (Beta) will be suspended if improper usage is detected. Improper usage is when you, or another driver of your vehicle, receive five âForced Autopilot Disengagementsâ. A disengagement is when the Autopilot system disengages for the remainder of a trip after the driver receives several audio and visual warnings for inattentiveness. Driver-initiated disengagements do not count as improper usage and are expected from the driver. Keep your hands on the wheel and remain attentive at all times. Use of any hand-held devices while using Autopilot is not allowed.
FSD BETA 10.69.3.3 RELEASE NOTES
â Added a new âdeep lane guidanceâ module to the Vector Lanes neural network which fuses features extracted from the video streams with coarse map data, i.e. lane counts and lane connectivities. This architecture achieves a 44% lower error rate on lane topology compared to the previous model, enabling smoother control before lanes and their connectivities becomes visually apparent. This provides a way to make every Autopilot drive as good as someone driving their own commute, yet in a sufficiently general way that adapts for road changes.
â Improved overall driving smoothness, without sacrificing latency, through better modeling of system and actuation latency in trajectory planning. Trajectory planner now independently accounts for latency from steering commands to actual steering actuation, as well as acceleration and brake commands to actuation. This results in a trajectory that is a more accurate model of how the vehicle would drive. This allows better downstream controller tracking and smoothness while also allowing a more accurate response during harsh maneuvers.
â Improved unprotected left turns with more appropriate speed profile when approaching and exiting median crossover regions, in the presence of high speed cross traffic (âChuck Cook styleâ unprotected left turns). This was done by allowing optimisable initial jerk, to mimic the harsh pedal press by a human, when required to go in front of high speed objects. Also improved lateral profile approaching such safety regions to allow for better pose that aligns well for exiting the region. Finally, improved interaction with objects that are entering or waiting inside the median crossover region with better modeling of their future intent.
â Added control for arbitrary low-speed moving volumes from Occupancy Network. This also enables finer control for more precise object shapes that cannot be easily represented by a cuboid primitive. This required predicting velocity at every 3D voxel. We may now control for slow-moving UFOs.
â Upgraded Occupancy Network to use video instead of images from single time step. This temporal context allows the network to be robust to temporary occlusions and enables prediction of occupancy flow. Also, improved ground truth with semantics-driven outlier rejection, hard example mining, and increasing the dataset size by 2.4x.
â Upgraded to a new two-stage architecture to produce object kinematics (e.g. velocity, acceleration, yaw rate) where network compute is allocated O(objects) instead of O(space). This improved velocity estimates for far away crossing vehicles by 20%, while using one tenth of the compute.
â Increased smoothness for protected right turns by improving the association of traffic lights with slip lanes vs yield signs with slip lanes. This reduces false slowdowns when there are no relevant objects present and also improves yielding position when they are present.
â Reduced false slowdowns near crosswalks. This was done with improved understanding of pedestrian and bicyclist intent based on their motion.
â Improved geometry error of ego-relevant lanes by 34% and crossing lanes by 21% with a full Vector Lanes neural network update. Information bottlenecks in the network architecture were eliminated by increasing the size of the per-camera feature extractors, video modules, internals of the autoregressive decoder, and by adding a hard attention mechanism which greatly improved the fine position of lanes.
â Made speed profile more comfortable when creeping for visibility, to allow for smoother stops when protecting for potentially occluded objects.
â Improved recall of animals by 34% by doubling the size of the auto-labeled training set.
â Enabled creeping for visibility at any intersection where objects might cross egoâs path, regardless of presence of traffic controls.
â Improved accuracy of stopping position in critical scenarios with crossing objects, by allowing dynamic resolution in trajectory optimization to focus more on areas where finer control is essential.
â Increased recall of forking lanes by 36% by having topological tokens participate in the attention operations of the autoregressive decoder and by increasing the loss applied to fork tokens during training.
â Improved velocity error for pedestrians and bicyclists by 17%, especially when ego is making a turn, by improving the onboard trajectory estimation used as input to the neural network.
â Improved recall of object detection, eliminating 26% of missing detections for far away crossing vehicles by tuning the loss function used during training and improving label quality.
â Improved object future path prediction in scenarios with high yaw rate by incorporating yaw rate and lateral motion into the likelihood estimation. This helps with objects turning into or away from egoâs lane, especially in intersections or cut-in scenarios.
â Improved speed when entering highway by better handling of upcoming map speed changes, which increases the confidence of merging onto the highway.
â Reduced latency when starting from a stop by accounting for lead vehicle jerk.
â Enabled faster identification of red light runners by evaluating their current kinematic state against their expected braking profile.
Press the âVideo Recordâ button on the top bar UI to share your feedback. When pressed, your vehicleâs external cameras will share a short VIN-associated Autopilot Snapshot with the Tesla engineering team to help make improvements to FSD. You will not be able to view the clip.
FULL SELF-DRIVING (BETA)
Full Self-Driving is in early limited access Beta and must be used with additional caution. It may do the wrong thing at the worst time, so you must always keep your hands on the wheel and pay extra attention to the road. Do not become complacent. When Full Self-Driving is enabled, your vehicle will make lane changes off highway, select forks to follow your navigation route, navigate around other vehicles and objects, and make left and right turns. Use Full Self-Driving in limited Beta only if you pay constant attention to the road, and be prepared to act immediately, especially around blind corners, crossing intersections, and in narrow driving situations.
Your vehicle is running on Tesla Vision! Note that Tesla Vision also includes some temporary limitations, follow distance is limited to 2-7 and Autopilot top speed is 80mph.
DRIVING VISUALIZATION IMPROVEMENTS
To view an expanded driving visualization when in drive with Full Self-Driving enabled, drag the light gray visualization bar to the right.
CABIN CAMERA
The cabin camera above your rearview mirror can now detect and alert driver inattentiveness while Autopilot is engaged. Camera data does not leave the car itself, which means the system cannot save or transmit information unless data shared is enabled. To change your data settings, tap Controls > Safety & Security > Data Sharing on your carâs touchscreen.
ENERGY APP
Learn more about your vehicleâs energy consumption with the updated Energy app. You can now:
â Monitor the amount of energy used while driving and parked.
â See how much energy is consumed by different vehicle components, driving behaviors, and environmental conditions.
â View energy used in comparison to trip projection and the battery indicator.
â Receive personalized suggestions for using energy more efficiently.
CABIN OVERHEAT PROTECTION
Choose the activation temperature for Cabin Overheat Protection according to your preferences by tapping Controls > Safety > Cabin Overheat Protection.
TESLA APP
View additional media player details and the ETA to a destination when a route is active from the Tesla mobile app with version 4.13.0.
SUPERCHARGER ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The redesigned Supercharger map popup will now display historical site occupancy in addition to the associated charging fees when available. To view these details, tap on any Supercharger pin that is in the vicinity of your vehicle.
CAR LEFT OPEN NOTIFICATIONS
Car Left Open Notifications will now notify you when the doors have been accidentally left unlocked.
ALTERNATE ROUTES
View up to three routes when navigating to a destination. Quickly compare the total travel time and traffic information for each route.
Note: Traffic information is only displayed with Premium Connectivity.
BLIND SPOT CAMERA
Adjust the placement of your blind spot camera on your display by dragging the camera feed. The camera feed will appear in the same position when your blinker is active. To enable, tap Controls > Autopilot > Automatic Blind Spot Camera.
THEATER MODE
Full screen Theater Mode can now be minimized, allowing access to vehicle controls without video playback interruption. Tap the minimize button on the top left corner of the window to toggle full screen mode.
TESLA PROFILES
Keep your settings and preferences synchronized across all supported vehicles using your Tesla account, including:
â Mirror, seating and steering wheel adjustments
â Autopilot, driving and climate control preferences
â Navigation, media and data sharing preferences
You can set up your Tesla Profile from Driver Profile settings and change your profile picture from the Tesla Mobile app.
STATUS BAR
A status bar with select quick controls has been added to the top of the touchscreen map.
DRIVER PROFILES
Any navigation recents or favorites will now be saved to the active driver profile.
TRAFFIC ALONG ROUTE
Any slow traffic conditions along your navigation route are now shown prominently as part of the route line on the map Note: This feature requires Premium Connectivity.
CARAOKE
Sing along to your favorite songs by tapping the Caraoke icon on the Application Launcher. Back seat passengers can join in by viewing the lyrics on the rear display. To add or remove vocal tracks during playback, tap on the microphone icon on the âNow Playingâ screen.
NEW LANGUAGE
You can now select Lithuanian as your touchscreen language. To update your language settings, tap Controls > Display and select your preferred language from the Touchscreen Languageâ drop- down menu.
BATTERY HEATING PERFORMANCE
Battery heating performance has been improved when driving at highway speeds with a Supercharger selected as the destination.
DISABLE SENTRY SOUNDS
To prevent disturbing neighbors, you can now disable the sounds made by Sentry Mode. Mobile app notifications will still be delivered. To enable this setting on the touchscreen, tap Controls > Safety > Sentry Mode > Disable Sentry Sounds.
AUTO REAR CLIMATE CONTROLS
Rear climate controls can now be set to Auto. Tap on the climate icon > Auto on the rear screen, or Rear > Auto on the center display climate popup. When Auto mode is enabled, the fan speeds will adjust automatically in order to reach the desired temperature.
REGENERATIVE BRAKING
Your vehicle can now automatically apply regular brakes for consistent deceleration when regenerative braking is limited due to battery temperature or state of charge. To enable, tap Controls > Pedals & Steering > Apply Brakes When Regenerative Braking Is Limited.
SONIC THE HEDGEHOG
Jump into the original Sonic the Hedgehog! Use the supersonic spin attack or defy gravity to defeat Dr. Eggman as the fastest hedgehog of all time. To access Sonic in PARK, tap the Application Launcher > Arcade. A game controller plugged into the glovebox USB port is required.
CAT QUEST
Leap into a grand adventure of dragons, magic and cats to pursue the evil Drakoth and your catnapped sister. To access Cat Quest in PARK, tap the Application Launcher > Arcade. A game controller plugged into the glovebox USB port is required.
