Tesla Cybertruck Prices Soften in Used Market as New Deliveries Expand

As Tesla’s Cybertruck moves into wider availability, its once-soaring used market prices are starting to adjust. Earlier this year, used Cybertrucks were commanding sky-high premiums, with one of the first units sold for a staggering $244,000. Now, as new models are available for delivery within weeks, the frenzy has cooled—though bargains remain elusive.

A search through online listings reveals over 250 Cybertrucks currently for sale, many of which belong to the limited-run Foundation Series. When introduced, the Foundation Series models carried a $20,000 premium over the standard variants, with prices starting at $99,990. These special-edition trucks feature exclusive accessories, such as an off-road light bar, a gear locker, and a Powershare mobile connector, which have added to their appeal among collectors and enthusiasts.

Used Foundation Series Cybertrucks are now listed between $85,000 and $100,000, with some sellers still asking above their original MSRP despite significant mileage. For instance, Celebrity Auto Group is marketing an AWD Foundation Series Cybertruck at an eye-popping $189,900. This asking price is higher than most Cyberbeast Foundation Series models, typically listed between $100,000 and $130,000.

While asking prices often exceed trading values, recent sales paint a clearer picture of the market. In November, two Cyberbeast Foundation Series models sold on Bring a Trailer for $96,500 and $99,500, respectively. In October, another AWD Foundation Series changed hands for $75,000. These numbers suggest that while premiums for used Cybertrucks persist, they are softening as supply catches up with demand.

With new deliveries expanding and prices stabilizing, the Cybertruck’s resale market reflects a transition from scarcity-driven premiums to a more balanced valuation, aligning with broader market trends.
