The all-new Jeep Avenger has officially begun regular production at the Stellantis plant in Tychy, Poland. This compact SUV marks the introduction of Jeep’s lineup of electric vehicles, designed specifically for the European market, as the brand aims to become a world leader in zero-emission SUVs.
“The all-new Jeep Avenger is the first Jeep SUV to be produced in Poland, and a great reason for our entire team to be proud. We are starting 2023 with the launch of production of a vehicle that has already earned recognition of customers and industry experts,” said Tomasz Gębka, Stellantis Plant Manager in Tychy plant. “We appreciate the great interest in this unique Jeep brand model, which offers a lot of state-of-the-art technological features. For our part, our Tychy team will add additional value to it – the highest level of quality.”
The Avenger embodies the iconic Jeep DNA, with its unique blend of capability, style, functionality, and technology. It features standard Selec-Terrain® and Hill Descent Control, impressive approach and departure angles, and high ground clearance, making it a highly capable vehicle in its segment.
Powered by a new generation 400 Volt electric propulsion system, the Jeep Avenger boasts a 156-hp electric motor with 260 Nm of torque and a 54 kWh battery pack.
Its electrification technology has already received praise from both customers and industry experts, with over 10,000 units sold since its reveal at the 2022 Paris Motor Show. The sales of the 1st Edition started on December 1st, 2022, followed by the full lineup on January 11th, 2023, demonstrating the demand for this new addition to the Jeep family.
