Polestar is set to captivate automotive enthusiasts at the Goodwood Festival of Speed with the unveiling of its latest concept, the Polestar Concept BST.

This concept car, alongside updates to the 2 sedan and new 3 and 4 crossovers, aims to preview Polestar’s future in high-performance electric vehicles.

The Polestar Concept BST builds upon the design language introduced by the O2 concept in 2022, featuring aggressive styling with flared arches, a striking front end, and a unique BST livery over silver paint. Sporting 22-inch wheels and a prominent rear wing, the concept suggests a focus on both aesthetics and aerodynamics.

While specific details about its powertrain remain undisclosed, industry watchers speculate that a production version could potentially offer up to 1,000 hp and accelerate from 0-60 mph in under three seconds. This performance would rival some of the fastest electric vehicles currently on the market.

Accompanying the static display of the Concept BST, Polestar will debut the Polestar 6 sedan at the Goodwood hill climb, marking its first public appearance.

Scheduled for release in 2026, the Polestar 6 will utilize Polestar’s new Performance Architecture (PPA), designed to enhance both performance and sustainability.

Initial production of the Polestar 6 is slated to begin with a limited run of 500 units in its first year, with plans for ongoing production based on market demand.

Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath has expressed confidence in the model’s appeal, noting that the final production version is expected to be unveiled in 2025, potentially accompanied by high-performance BST variants.
