Polestar marked a significant milestone with the commencement of deliveries for the Polestar 3, as the first customers received their crossovers in a special ceremony at the company's headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath emphasized the occasion, stating, “This is an important milestone – first deliveries of Polestar 3 to our customers.” He highlighted Polestar's expanding global presence, describing it as “becoming a global player with the most attractive electric product range.”

Following the initial deliveries in Sweden, further rollouts are scheduled in Germany and Norway, with American customers in California, Illinois, Indiana, and New York set to receive their Polestar 3 vehicles shortly.
In a parallel announcement, Polestar introduced the new Polestar 3 Long Range Single Motor variant, now available for order in Europe. Pricing starts at €79,890 in Germany and £69,900 in the United Kingdom.

The entry-level model, produced in China and the United States, features a 111 kWh battery pack and a rear-mounted motor delivering 295 hp (220 kW / 299 PS) and 361 lb-ft (490 Nm) of torque. Acceleration from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) takes 7.8 seconds, with a WLTP range of up to 404 miles (650 km). Rapid charging capabilities include a 250 kW DC fast charger, capable of achieving a 10-80% charge in just 30 minutes.
Polestar also teased enhancements for the 2025 Polestar 3 Long Range Single Motor, promising greater customization options such as expanded color choices and a bespoke 21-inch wheel design as part of the new Pro Pack.
