Polestar has introduced a more affordable, longer-range version of its luxury electric SUV, the Polestar 3. The new 2025 Long Range Polestar 3 RWD variant, now available for pre-order, offers an EPA-estimated 350 miles of range starting at $67,500 — a $6,400 reduction compared to the entry-level AWD trim.
The rear-wheel-drive model, powered by a single rear motor, generates 295 horsepower and 361 lb-ft of torque. This brings a balance between performance and efficiency, offering a 0-60 mph acceleration in 7.5 seconds, compared to the AWD variant’s 4.8 seconds.
Those desiring higher power output can opt for the Performance Pack, delivering up to 517 hp and 671 lb-ft of torque, cutting the 0-60 mph time to 4.5 seconds.
Inside, the Polestar 3 RWD features a 14.5-inch LED infotainment screen, a 9-inch driver display, and a rear control screen for climate settings.
Fast-charging capability remains a key feature, allowing a 10% to 80% charge in 30 minutes with a 250 kW charging rate. Pre-orders for the new Polestar 3 variant are open, with deliveries expected between February and April 2025.
