Nio, a Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, reported 20,575 vehicle deliveries in November, an increase of 28.92% compared to 15,959 a year earlier, though a slight decline of 1.91% from October. This marked the company’s second consecutive month of lower month-on-month deliveries, while maintaining its seventh month above the 20,000-unit threshold.
The main Nio brand accounted for 15,493 deliveries, representing a 2.92% decline from the same month last year and a 6.99% decrease from October. Deliveries for the Onvo sub-brand reached 5,082 units, reflecting a 17.67% increase from October.
Year-to-date, Nio has delivered 190,832 vehicles, a 34.36% increase compared to the same period in 2022. Since its inception, the company has delivered 640,426 vehicles, with 630,193 under its main brand.
Nio’s guidance for fourth-quarter deliveries remains in the range of 72,000 to 75,000 units, reflecting projected growth of 43.9% to 49.9% year-on-year. To achieve this, the company needs to deliver at least 30,449 vehicles in December.
Onvo, Nio’s new sub-brand, launched its first model, the L60, in September. Production capacity for the model is expected to increase to 10,000 units in December, with further expansion to 20,000 units by March 2025. “Deliveries of the Onvo L60 are progressing as planned, and we aim to exceed 10,000 units in December,” Onvo President Alan Ai noted in a recent statement.
