Most expensive version of the Polestar 3 electric SUV costs $100,770

The Polestar 3 made its debut last month. Not long after that the configurator was live on the website. While delivery won’t be happening anytime soon, you can design it now.

If in the configurator you choose the top model and place all available accessories, then the most expensive version of the Polestar 3 costs $ 100,770.

Base prices for the Polestar 3 electric SUV start at $83,900 in the United States, with a destination cost of $1,400 bringing the price to $85,300.

The Polestar 3 with Performance Pack comes with a total of $91,300. A $6,000 software update lets you increase output to 510 horsepower (380 kilowatts). There are also 22-inch forged wheels, Swedish golf accents on the seat belts and valve covers, and gold accent lights in the cabin.

Polestar offers six exterior color options for its electric SUV. Silver magnesium is the only color free. Other colors namely Snow white, Thunder grey, Jupiter light pink, Midnight blue, and Space black cost an additional $1,300.

The upholstery also has the option of no-cost MicroTech with bio attributes in Charcoal or animal welfare wool in Charcoal. For $5,500, there’s perforated Nappa leather in Jupiter or Zinc colors with massaged ventilated front seats.

Polestar 3 comes with Pilot and Pilot Plus packages, which are advanced driver assistance systems that can maintain the vehicle’s position in one lane on the highway. Other features are also presented in this electric SUV such as a head-up display, 25-speaker Bowers & Wilkins stereo, windshield with laminated acoustic glass, and soft-close doors.

Polestar promises a Pilot package with a LiDAR option to be available in the second quarter of 2023 which will provide a laser sensor system for better collision avoidance and driving assistance. Pricing for the LiDAR option is not yet available.

Polestar also offers some additional accessories. The 221-pound (100.2 kilogram) roof rack is priced at $400. A sunshade for a panoramic roof costs $180. Plastic floor mats are $220 and an additional $220 for the luggage compartment. A set of mudflaps costs $200. The $1,450 retractable towbar hitch is the most expensive add-on accessory.

All Polestar 3 models use a battery with a gross capacity of 111 kWh with the most efficient model having a range of 300 miles. The entry-level powertrain offers 489 hp (365 kW) and 620 pound-feet (841 Newton-meters) of torque. This enables the electric SUV and accelerates from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.9 seconds.
