Mercedes-Benz EQE and EQS customers in North America now have the option to enhance their vehicle’s performance with the new Acceleration Increase On-Demand upgrade for select Sedan and SUV models.
This upgrade can be obtained as an Over-the-Air update, allowing customers to increase their vehicle’s output by up to 80 hp and improve acceleration from 0 to 60 mph by as much as a full second. It is available to customers in the Mercedes me connect Store, providing the choice of a one-time purchase for the lifetime of the vehicle or flexible monthly and yearly options.

The Acceleration Increase feature is exclusively offered to Mercedes-Benz EQE 350 4MATIC and EQS 450 4MATIC Sedan and SUV customers in the U.S. and Canada. For eligible EQE models, it raises the output from 288 hp to 348 hp, resulting in up to a 1.0-second faster acceleration from 0 to 60 mph (SUV). Applicable EQS models receive an additional 80 hp, bringing the total output to 435 hp and enabling impressive 0-60 mph acceleration in as little as 4.5 seconds (Sedan). These performance enhancements do not affect the vehicles’ electric range.
To experience this upgraded performance, customers can download the Acceleration Increase feature from the Mercedes me connect Store online at shop.mbusa.com. The Over-the-Air integration allows for this update to be done without visiting a dealership.

The Mercedes me connect Store offers a variety of other On-Demand enhancements for a wide range of models, allowing customers to upgrade their SUV or car at any time according to their evolving individual needs and preferences. The Mercedes me connect Store follows a straightforward, personalized, and highly flexible approach. Basic, built-in features like heated seats will not be offered as digital extras. While Mercedes-Benz provides total flexibility with monthly and yearly subscription options, customers also have the choice to purchase an On-Demand feature for the entire lifespan of their vehicle.
