Drawing inspiration from the EQG Concept, which made its grand debut at the esteemed 2021 Munich Motor Show, the production version is expected to stay true to the overall styling presented in the concept vehicle.
While the video doesn’t provide a clear view of the interior, if the concept serves as any indication, the cabin is likely to bear a striking resemblance to the current production G-Class. During a previous ride-along experience, Mercedes took precautions to conceal the interior, suggesting minimal changes to the G-Class’ interior layout. Enthusiasts can expect the familiar sight of twin 12.3-inch displays, serving as both the digital instrument cluster and infotainment screen, complementing the EQG’s advanced and connected driving experience.
Remaining faithful to its G-Class roots, the EQG will retain its sturdy ladder-frame chassis, now powered by four electric motors that propel each wheel.
