Seb Inglis-Jones, co-founder of Maeving, expressed enthusiasm about expanding into North America: “We’re so excited to offer North American riders the chance to experience and own a zero-emissions motorcycle that blends timeless British design with the benefits of modern electric performance and usability.”

The Maeving RM1S boasts a top speed of 70 mph and a range of 80 miles, powered by a rear hub-mounted motor delivering 7.0 kW continuous power (10.5 kW peak) and torque of 184 ft-lbs.

Designed by former Triumph engineers, the bike features dual LG 21700 cell batteries that can be charged from 20% to full in three hours, offering enhanced convenience with a redesigned storage space and options for on-bike or off-bike charging.

Inglis-Jones highlighted the RM1S’s versatility: “This new Maeving provides greater performance so it can be used in a much wider variety of use cases and offers the convenience of charging the batteries both on and off the bike.”

With a focus on urban mobility, the RM1S incorporates classic styling elements reminiscent of board tracker bikes from the 1920s and café racer aesthetics, paired with modern safety features such as responsive calipers and linked braking.

The motorcycle’s lightweight design, at 293 lbs, coupled with its adjustable rear suspension and Dunlop K70 tires, aims to provide agile handling in diverse riding conditions.
