The Jeep Avenger electric car has been showcased at the 2022 Paris Motor Show. The brand’s first electric SUV was purposely designed with Stellantis in mind for the European automotive market.
Jeep revealed the Avenger electric vehicle design last month. Then this electric SUV got the opportunity to show it off at an auto show of the caliber of the Paris Motor Show 2022.
The exterior of this Avenger has a classic Jeep feel, with a seven-slot grille, split LED headlights, fenders, trapezoidal wheel arches, X-shaped LED graphics on the taillights, aluminum-style skid plates and plastic finish on the bumpers and side sills.
In addition, the Jeep Avenger alloy wheels have a diameter of 18 inches. The size is claimed to increase proportions, and the roof is available in a duo-tone black.
The interior design is quite simple with a body-colored horizontal dashboard, digital cockpit and several storage compartments with a total capacity of 34 liters in the front row combined with 380 liters of luggage.
This electric SUV is included in the Level 2 autonomy category. It can not be separated from the various features offered, such as Traffic Jam Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Centering, and Active Park Assist.
From October 17 to November 30, Jeep is offering pre-orders for the Jeep Avenger 1st Edition. The model is available in Sun or Granite shades with a Volcano roof, or in a full Volcano livery.
At the 2022 Paris Motor Show, Jeep also showcased a custom version of the Avenger with a Granite exterior color, a Volcan roof, glossy black wheels, blue accents, and a hood sticker with an X-camo livery. The company also offers more than 100 accessories and customization packages for the Avengers.
This SUV is equipped with a 400 V electric motor that can produce 115 kW of power and 191.8 lb-ft of torque. The 54 kWh battery is installed under the front and rear and middle seats. Jeep claims that the range is up to 400 km in a combined cycle, up to 550 km in an urban cycle.
Jeep is rumored to use a 100 kW Mode 4 cable and fast charger. The battery can charge 20-80 percent in just 24 minutes or increase the range to 30 km in three minutes. When plugged in using an 11 kW Mode 3 cable, a full charge takes 5.5 hours.
