Hyundai Motor and Kia Corporation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Saudi Arabia’s Misk Foundation to foster talent development and leadership skills in the Kingdom.
The collaboration aims to nurture young leaders through innovative initiatives designed to prepare them for future challenges in a rapidly changing global landscape.
Jae-Yong Lee, an executive at Hyundai Motor, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We’re thrilled to partner with Misk Foundation, a hub of innovation and entrepreneurship for Saudi future leaders. We aim to create synergies to empower the next generation of leaders. This collaborative effort will contribute to the development of Saudi Arabia’s knowledge-based economy and pave the way for a more sustainable and connected future.”
As part of the agreement, the Misk Traineeship Program will be launched, offering young Saudis access to international learning opportunities with Hyundai and Kia. Participants will gain hands-on experience with the companies’ technologies and global operations, equipping them for future roles in the tech and automotive industries.
In addition to enhancing leadership potential, the program is seen as a recruitment pathway for Hyundai and Kia to attract bright talent for their future projects, a strategy mirrored by other companies in the electric vehicle industry, such as LG Energy Solution.
