Hyundai has succeeded in making an electric car that many people are looking at, namely the Ioniq 5. Not long ago, the South Korean manufacturer has reportedly prepared the Ioniq 6.
The Hyundai Ioniq 6 will make its global debut on July 14 this year at the Busan Motor Show. The information doesn’t come from the automaker itself but from TheKoreanCarBlog, a trusted news source for South Korea’s auto industry.
Hyundai has released a teaser video for the Ioniq 6, but without showing the shape of the car itself. Hyundai only hints that the car carries the ‘electrified streamliner’ theme.

Ioniq 6 will use the same platform as Ioniq 5, namely the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). However, the design of the electric sedan seems to be very different. If the Ioniq 5 looks a little retro, the Ioniq 6 is rumored to be more focused on aerodynamics. Its shape is determined by the need to reduce drag.
From several spyshots circulating, it can be seen that the curves of the body are more rounded and flow from the hood, then to the roof, to the stern. Not with firm and aggressive lines like in supercars.
