The Hyundai IONIQ 6 has many advantages and interesting specifications that make it a beautiful electric sedan. The latest electric car made by Hyundai has now begun to be distributed in a limited number of 2,500 units for the European market.

So the world community, especially in Europe, is no longer just enjoying the electric sedan from the picture. But also can see it directly in full.

In terms of design, the Hyundai IONIQ 6 does provide a refreshing design look. Unlike the retro-looking Hyundai IONIQ 5, the new electric car from Hyundai offers a futuristic coupe sedan design.

The Hyundai IONIQ 6 takes the exterior design of the Hyundai Propechy concept car raw. The only difference is the proportion of dimensions that are now made shorter when compared to the Hyundai Propechy. Of course, this is accommodated because of the demands of mass production which require material efficiency.

It’s just that the overall dimensions show a very solid form. At least it gives the impression of a very strong car.

Hyundai claims the car has a drag coefficient of 0.21. Aerodynamics are getting better because of the addition of active grille openings, spoiler and rear vents, underbody panels, and optional camera mirrors.

In the interior, the Hyundai IONIQ 6 clearly has a strong relationship with the Hyundai IONIQ 5. This is indicated by the presence of a 12-inch screen for instruments and infotainment. Likewise with the dashboard and steering wheel designs which are similar to the Hyundai Ioniq 5.

It’s just that Hyundai added a new element in the interior. Like the interior lighting which is now divided into two different colors. Additionally it features a floating center console, which looks like a home button and a toggle like for a window.

The Hyundai IONIQ 6 is an emotional convergence between functionality and aesthetics. This distinctively sleek design is the culmination of the collaboration between engineers and designers in the EV era.

“This car is made to focus on customer needs and also to be the center of attention when on the road,” said SangYup Lee, Executive Vice President and Head of Hyundai Design Center, quoted by Hyundai’s official website.

The Hyundai IONIQ 6 shares a platform with the KIA EV6 and Genesis GV60 electric cars, namely the E-GMP platform. Like the Hyundai IONIQ 5, this cool electric car is offered in two variants, namely the Standard Range and Long Range.

The Hyundai IONIQ 6 Long Range is powered by a 77.4 kWh battery, with two-wheel drive and 18-inch rims. The car’s mileage is fantastic, reaching 614 kilometers. In contrast, the Standard Range variant comes with a 53 kWh battery pack.

The smaller battery certainly has a shorter range, which is only able to reach the furthest distance of 429 km. But the distance is also quite extraordinary for an electric car.
