GMC Hummer EV Pickup named one of the ten EVs to own in 2022 by AutoTrader

The GMC Hummer EV Pickup was voted as one of the ten best electric vehicles to buy in 2022 by the AutoTrader.com Website.

The editor of AutoTrader.com said the GMC Hummer EV was the right choice because it brought the Hummer brand to life in a more environmentally friendly way and in an all-electric form.

The editors of AutoTrader.com also underlined its frankly implausible capabilities and performance.

“GM’s first electric pickup truck is reviving the Hummer nameplate, this time as a GMC sub-brand,” AutoTrader said of the GMC Hummer EV.

“In stark contrast to the gas-guzzling giant Hummer, this new EV pickup is incredibly capable, fast, quiet and electron-powered.” AutoTrader says

The GMC Hummer EV isn’t the only electric truck on the list. The Rivian R1T is also in the top ten EVs for 2022.

The editors of AutoTrader.com used several scoring factors to create this list. These factors include interior, exterior, powertrains, ride and handling, comfort, features, and of course, price.

Brian Moody, executive editor at Autotrader, believes EV sales will increase in the coming months and years due to rising fuel costs.
