Ford Motor is offering significant discounts on its electric vehicles, making its popular Mustang Mach-E more affordable to lease than some gasoline-powered sedans. With competitive pricing and attractive incentives, the automaker aims to boost sales and maintain its position in the growing EV market. The latest lease offers make the Mustang Mach-E a compelling choice, with monthly payments in some regions lower than those for a Toyota Camry, despite the EV having a higher sticker price.
The Mustang Mach-E, which ranked as the third best-selling electric vehicle in the U.S. in 2024 with over 51,700 units sold, has outperformed its gas-powered Mustang counterpart for the first time. To stay competitive against new electric models like the Honda Prologue and the 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5, Ford has rolled out substantial savings.

Under its “Power Promise” program, the company is offering all EV buyers a free Level 2 home charger and covering the standard installation costs. For customers who already own a charger, Ford provides a $1,000 charging credit as an alternative.
Beyond home charging incentives, Ford’s aggressive lease pricing makes the Mach-E more accessible to new buyers. According to CarsDirect, the 2024 Mustang Mach-E Select, with a base MSRP of $39,995, can be leased for as little as $229 per month for 24 months in Southern California.
With $4,329 due at signing, the effective monthly cost is approximately $409. Comparatively, the 2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid LE, which starts at $28,400, is currently available for lease at $299 per month for 39 months, with $3,598 upfront, resulting in an effective cost of about $391 per month.
While the Camry Hybrid appears slightly cheaper at first glance, Ford’s additional incentives make the Mach-E lease even more attractive. When factoring in the $1,000 Tesla Conquest bonus—available to current Tesla owners who switch to a Ford EV—the effective lease cost of the Mach-E drops to just $326 per month. This makes it more affordable than a 2025 Toyota Corolla LE, which has an MSRP of $22,325 and an effective lease rate of $336 per month, despite the Mach-E being priced over $17,500 higher.

For buyers who prefer financing over leasing, Ford is also offering the 2024 Mustang Mach-E with 0% APR for 72 months, plus a $2,500 bonus cash incentive. Meanwhile, Ford’s electric pickup truck lineup is also seeing significant price cuts. The 2024 F-150 Lightning now features a nationwide 0% APR financing offer for 72 months, with additional savings of up to $5,000 off MSRP. The new Flash trim benefits from a $3,000 retail cash bonus, while the XLT and Lariat trims receive up to $4,000 in savings. The top-tier Platinum model gets the highest bonus at $5,000.
In addition to these offers, Ford’s conquest programs allow certain buyers to stack further savings. Tesla owners can receive a $1,000 discount when switching to a Ford EV, while current Ram truck owners are eligible for an extra $2,000 in savings under a separate conquest program. The public charging credit offer, which helps new EV buyers cover charging costs, remains in place as well.
