Fisker announced its partnership with Wallbox to provide home chargers for Fisker electric vehicle reservation holders. Under the partnership, the two companies will offer owners of the Fisker EV, a Wallbox home EV charger, for purchase through the Fisker website in the United States, Canada and Europe, Fisker said in a press release.

The Wallbox Pulsar Plus smart charger will be available to Fisker Ocean reservation holders from November 2022 in the US and Canada.

The Wallbox Pulsar Max smart charger will be available to Fisker Ocean reservation holders from November 2022 in the European market, which includes Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Norway, Sweden and the UK.

However, Fisker and Wallbox have not announced the price that must be issued by users. However, the company promises that they will announce it soon.

“Fisker is focused on lasers to provide our customers with simple and intuitive technology combined with smart design to make owning an EV easier,” said Chairman and CEO Henrik Fisker in a press release.

“Together with Wallbox, we provide Fisker owners with class-leading chargers at competitive prices,” he added.

Not only home chargers, Fisker and Wallbox also plan to offer the home installation service provided by Wallbox in Europe. In the US and Canada, installation services will be provided by COIL, a recent Wallbox acquisition.

“Making home charging accessible is key to accelerating the transition to EV globally, and partnering with Fisker will allow us to support more drivers as they make the transition,” said Douglas Alfaro, General Manager of Wallbox North America.

Production of the Fisker Ocean is planned to start on November 17, 2022, at a carbon neutral plant in Graz, Austria, and product deliveries to customers will begin soon.
