The Electrified G80 is the first electric car from Genesis, which is based on the Genesis G80 premium sedan. Before discussing the battery and electric motor, let’s first look at the exterior design. In general, the Electrified G80 has the same design as its sibling.
For example, the front grille is in the shape of a G-Matrix typical of Genesis cars with a diamond motif. And on the front there is a hidden charging door.
With dimensions of 5,005 meters in length, 1,925 meters in width and 1,475 meters in height, the Electrified G80 is arguably a large luxury sedan. This can be seen from the side with sweet chrome ornaments and 19-inch rims of the turbine model.
At the back, there is a beautiful combination of lights with an LED system. This car also eliminates exhaust holes in the rear bumper design which is claimed to help the aerodynamics of the car.
The Electrified G80 has an electric battery with a capacity of 87.2 kWh which is connected to two electric motors on the front and rear wheels. The power generated from these two electric motors is 272 kW or the equivalent of 364.7 TK and 700 Nm of torque.
The Electrified G80 is claimed to have a cruising range of up to 427 km on a full battery. To charge it, it only takes 22 minutes from 10 percent to 80 percent with 800 V rapid charging and if you use an 11 kW standard charger, from 10 percent to 100 percent it takes 9 hours.
Entering the cabin, of course the Electrified G80 is wrapped in luxury but uses environmentally friendly materials. For example, in the wood panel, we use recycled wood, and nappa leather seats with natural dyes.
In addition, the driver will also enjoy various advanced features in the cabin, such as a full LED instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system. One of the excellent features in this infotainment system is Augmented Reality Navigation.
The features embedded in the Electrified G80 are also abundant, for example for safety, in the cabin, there are 10 airbags. In addition, there are advanced features such as line following/keeping assist, blind spot and forward collision avoidance assist, safe exit assist, rear guide lamps, and forward attention warning.
Then also embedded driving assists such as intelligent lighting, highway driving assist, navigation based on smart cruise control and many more.
